Sapa



Neil Featherstone, an Australian photographer, has just published four photo books about Vietnam although he used to be a financial expert. He changed his career life from finance section to photography a dream of the youth.

He went to Vietnam in 2009 and the first place he set his feet was Hanoi then went down to Saigon. After the first trip to Vietnam, he thought he would return there many times, then he decided to live in Vietnam after selling his company in Australia.

"Waspy Waist" Ao Dai

Home-stay tour in Thai Nguyen Province


A home-stay is not unknown in many provinces in Vietnam as is a kind of the easy business. With built-in spaces in their houses, farmers just separate their house into small rooms that contain beds with international sizes. They register with the local authorities to do this business and are supported by the local authorities who provide them with types of the activities they should organise to help visitors learn about the culture of the suburban.

A photo above depicts a French tourist who leads a buffalo to feed him with grass. Wearing black traditional clothes of the ethnic minority people, the visitor feels interested to experience a life of a farmer in this region.

Van Village

Few know about Van Village at foot of Hai Van Pass. It is a village surrounded by forest and separated from Danang City. The beach is not exploited by tourism yet, thus it retains primitive. The village used to be a place for leprosy treatment.

Van Village includes three beaches: Chinh Beach (Main Beach), Dua Beach (Coconut Beach), and far away Xoan Beach, the most beautiful one.
