Ecosystem Reserve in Cu Chi Tunnel

Cu Chi Tunnel

Cu Chi Tunnel is well known for a network of underground tunnels which were used by Vietnamese militia to fight against the US-backed army during a war. Nowadays, it is used as a holiday destination for local and international tourists to explore the war history of Vietnamese communists. During a tour in the underground tunnels, tourists have meals of cassava and sweet potatoes fighters had at that time.

A photo above depicts a community house where the ethnic minority group Cu Chi uses for their cultural purposes. Tourists find many kinds of entertainment here such as fishing, horse riding, duck catching, and sailing.

Cu Chi Tunnel is not far from Ho Chi Minh City, about 45 km northwest Ho Chi Minh City.
