Looking from the top of Sam Mountain, An Giang Province, you see an immense rice field leading to Chau Doc City. This area attracts thousands of pilgrims due to sacred places, including temples and pagodas. The majority of Chinese here creates a strong influence. Also, you would explore Islamic, Indian and Khmer influences in visits to religious places. 

In addition, this site is a landmark that reveals historical crimes in which the Khmer Rouge made a cross-border raid into Vietnam and massacred thousands of innocent Vietnamese inhabitants.
