Da Lat City in purple flamboyant blossom in March brings romantic features, but a little sad touch to a so-called thousand-flower city. Flamboyant trees on streets leading to the central market bloom in March and April annually.
Also, Xuan Huong Lake, a symbol of the city, is covered with pine forest, lawns and many flower gardens.
