G-Dragon held back tears and said that because he was a celebrity, he couldn't bear to be judged even though he was unfairly wronged.
One week after completing the first investigation and receiving negative results, G-Dragon spoke up for the first time against nasty accusations about himself.
On the evening of November 13, G-Dragon had a live interview with Yonhap News channel about the recent drug scandals that have surrounded him.
G-Dragon affirmed that he had never used drugs and did not know any entertainment facility managers or doctors who provided drugs, as rumoured.
Recently, the Korean police also admitted that they began a drug investigation with Lee Sun Kyun and G-Dragon based only on statements and did not have clear physical evidence.
When asked about his strange behaviour that caused him to be suspected of using banned substances, G-Dragon replied: "Of course, being a celebrity, I also have to be patient when people judge me. In this drug-related incident, I'm despondent."
When I was 6 years old, I started living the life of a child singer. It's been 30 years, and my body is more resilient than others.
Therefore, my gait may be odd in people's eyes.
In addition to the nature of my work, my image on television and my everyday image will be different, so that's the reason why people are so suspicious of me.
As for the stuttering way of talking, I don't know when my every word gets embellished, so I'm cautious with what I say.
I'm also under a lot of pressure, so I always take time to think before saying anything. Therefore, I often stumble and sometimes go off-topic, but I will try to improve in the future."
