A New Book about David Beckham

Author Tom Bower's new book, 'The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power,' has recently caused a stir in the entertainment world. The work reveals details about the past lives of the Beckham couple. Tom Bower is a former British journalist and a television producer for the BBC. He is known for his sensational investigative journalism on the lives of celebrities and members of the royal family.

The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power is the latest book by the 78-year-old author. It exposes the truth about the sex life, money, and power of one of the most famous couples in the United Kingdom—Victoria and David Beckham.

Before its official global release on June 20, several special chapters from this book were "teased" by Tom Bower. He writes, "Victoria Beckham slapped David hard in the face after allegations that he had an affair with his former assistant. Victoria's life in Madrid was lonely and unhappy."

"Although she had everything money could buy, she was still isolated. With few friends, she did not want to learn Spanish. Her strict diet, rigorous exercise, and constant smoking reflected her anxiety," Tom Bower writes in The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power.

In 2003, the Beckhams' marriage was on the rocks when there were reports that David had an affair with his personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, while he was playing football in Spain for Real Madrid. However, the 1970s-born soccer star always denied the allegations. At that time, Victoria and David seemed to "ignore" everything. They prioritized the Beckham brand, continued building their careers, and earned a "huge" amount of money while raising their four children.

The world almost forgot about that scandal until the famous family teamed up with Netflix to release a documentary about David's life on and off the pitch.

However, the storm between the Beckhams did not end. Writer Tom Bower claims that David and Victoria lived separately in 2016. The former England star was even suspected of accusing his wife and her PR team of waging a media war against him. According to the book, the couple became so estranged that they hardly interacted, maintaining only a "distant business relationship."

In addition to shocking revelations about the couple's love life, the work shows Beckham's "cunning" in paying personal income tax. Author Tom Bower claims the former Manchester United player was obsessed with money, frequently seeking expert advice and deliberately "bending the rules" to legally minimize his tax payments to the United Kingdom.

According to public opinion, David Beckham's attempt to receive a knighthood from the British Royal Family may fail due to the book's investigation into his tax issues and off-field life, which remains a hot topic of discussion.
