Vietnam seriously hit by drought
This year, Vietnam is seriously hit by drought. At present, some provinces have suffered drought's consequence. Lakes, streams were run out of water. Farmers have great difficulty in livehood.
In 1993, the total damage due to drought costed US$ 4,200,000, in 2004-2005, it costed US$ 7,500,000, in 2014 - 2016, it costs US$ 35,000,000.
The awareness of protection of green environment is less. Many forests have been fired to cultivate crops.

Phong Nha cave, Vietnam
A good news for local and international tourists is that tourist services have just launched another tour to Phong Nha Cave, a designated World Heritage Site since 2003 by Unesco.
The tour includes a much longer trekking trail and more activities. Hopefully, with this news, tourists will explore more than half of the cave's length which is 7,729 meters instead of onliy 1.5 km like before.

Tu Lan cave reopen after restauration work, Vietnam
Tu Lan, a submerged cave outside the famous Phong Nha - Ke Bang cave system in the central Vietnam, opened to tourists after two month restauration.
It resumed tourist services on November 10 after restauration work and flooding during the monsoon. Tu Lan was discovered by local fishmen in 2009 and explored by members of the British Cave Research Association in 2010.
