Cables on Fansipan Mountain, Vietnam

Fansipan is a highest mountain in Sapa, a so-called roof in Indochine, the North of Vietnam. It is one of a charming attraction for local and international tourists.

Recently, a cable system was built to connect the Valley Muong Hoa to the peak of Fansipan. It is considered the longest cable in the world.

The cable system is over 3000 meters above sea level and the first ever cable in Asia. Cables of departure and arrival have 1400 meters in difference of height.

Three-line cable is over 6000 meters long. The cable contains 30-35 pax/ trip and transfer 2000 pax/ hour.
