Bay Nui Mountain, An Giang Province, Vietnam
Bay Nui Mountain or Seven Mountains is in An Giang Province, the southern Vietnam. Summer is the time for back packers to discover the region of Bay Nui Mountain, rice fields extending to the horizon. They experience a rustic life and hospitality of villagers as well.
Inhabitants in An Giang Province live on farming and livestock husbandry. After rice crop harvests, it is time for them to do some errands at home, prepare for another seeding season. In this period, they organise an ox race, a traditional game designed for diligent farmers who want to show off their well-fed animals.
