Golden rice fields in Y Ty Village, Lao Cai

Y Ty Village in rice crop harvest in September

Rice Fields in Y Ty Village, Lao Cai Province

Y Ty Village sits in Lao Cai Province, the Northern Vietnam. This region includes terrace fields that look like a cascade falling down toward the end of a stream.

September is crop harvest time when inhabitants in Lao Cai Province go out in golden rice fields early morning to harvest rice. It is a time for photographic professionals and amateurs to prove their skills and satisfy their passion.

Y Ty Village stays deep in mountains, are circled by sheer mountains and covered by dense white clouds all year around. Y Ty amazed tourists with beautiful clouds, mountains, jungle, terraced rice fields or dirt-walled houses where minority ethnic group Ha Nhi live.
