Turn off the light for Earth Hour
This year, Earth Hour falls on 24 March. At present, the mass media in all cities and towns across Vietnam mobilizes the public to join this campaign by turning off all lights for 60 minutes or more for "a green life".
With a motto "Go more green", the Ministry of Industry has just launched a campaign to raise awareness of the public on the environmental sustainability. It is an event participated by the whole world.
There will be commitments of households, businesses, and organizations to turn off lights to save electric energy. Last year, Vietnam saved 471,000 kwh on Earth Hour.
