The campaign is to raise awareness of individuals, communities, and businesses on environmental issues to switch off the power usage for one hour, named Earth Hour, which was launched in Sydney in 2007 by Worldwide Fund for Nature, and becomes an annual event organised in 187 countries and 7000 big and small cities all over the world.
Vietnam held the 11th edition of Earth Hour at Indochina Hotel in Hanoi, with presence of many celebraties such as Vietnamese star footballers, models and television anchors.
