The local government's weakness of weather forecasting caused damages of lives and materials

Victims of this disaster witnessed rifts on the nearby mountain but there wasn't warning or request of evacuation from the local government. Land slide covers up train carriages in Yen Bai Province

The traffic accident happened on October 9, 2017 in Yen Bai Province, Vietnam. Land slide arose to cover up 3 railroads and 7 freight carriages completely. The local government didn't claim any loss of life or injury.

This accident is a consequence of deforestation in Vietnam. The government doesn't seriously enforce approaches for forest protection. The bribery aggregates the deforestation. In addition, people's awareness in this regard is weakened.

Reviving captured bears

Reviving captured bears due to business of bile

A bear cries with a pain due to the extraction of bile

A vice of raising bears for the extraction of bile is rampant across Vietnam that creates an alarm.

A bear is captured in a small cage of a household in Vietnam. Bear's living condition is inadequate. People feed bears to extract a bear's bile that makes it experience the suffering. It is illegal to raise bears in the inhabitant residence; however, earning money blinds owners, ignoring a bear's bodily tolerance.

According to the 2015 stats of the Department of Forestry Protection, only hundreds of bears live in nature. A total of 1245 bears are reared in farms of households across Vietnam. Because the price of bile goes down, the husbandry of bears is not profitable that householders don't take care of them and leave them starved and thirsty.

Animal Asia Association provides a 24/24 rescue service in which they receive telephone calls to rescue captured bears across Vietnam. If you are interested in this kind of activities, let's visit its facebook.

A mid-autumn lantern people are scared to buy

12-mau-long-den-trung-thu-chat-nhat-viet-nam-8

The mid-autumn that falls on August 15 of the lunar calendar is a traditional festival for children to hold lanterns going in a parade from the end of an ally to the other. In the evening, they kindle candles that are put inside a lantern. Along with their next door friends, they take a line, each of them holds a lantern and sing mid-autumn songs. That's a game of children on this occasion.

Lanterns are produced in various forms of a fish, butterfly, plane, ship, but rarely a coffin with a cross at the end as featured in a photo above. Maybe, this is the first time such a kind of a lantern is produced by a weird idea. Who dares to buy such a kind of a lantern!

Nobody cares about the life of students in a far remote region

At the beginning of September is the first opening day of school. In a city, children are driven by their parents while in a far remote region children have difficulty in going to school. Travelling on road is very far. They cut down an initiative by taking a small boat like the one in the photo.

A group of students living in a neighbourhood go together. They don't wear any life vest. The stream is very swift. A careless action may make them fall into a stream that the grim reaper is waiting for them in the bed of a stream.

Education plays a key role in a student's life, giving them a bright future. But their life must be paid attention to.
