Budhha statue, Vietnam

World's largest Budhha statue was displayed in north Vietnam. It is an honour for Vietnamese religious worshippers to enjoy such a huge holy statue. 

The statue, "Jade Budhha for Peace, stands 2.54 meters tall, weigh approximately four tonnes, and sit on a solid alabaster throne. 

 

It draws attention from religious worshippers all over the world thanks to its impressive seize. Carve by Thai artisans during eight years, the statue was made from an 18-tonne gemstone-quality jade called "Polar Pride"  discovered in north Canada in 2002.
