Ha Giang Province
A piece of art Dốc 9 Khoanh (a so-called slope with 9 turns) by Viet, Tran Tuan is selected to display in National Geographic Magazine (an American magazine). A slope with 9 turns which is covered with smog is a favourite road trip that backpackers take on a journey to discover northern Vietnam.
Ha Giang is a province bordering China with the population of 90% of ethnic minority people. It is endowed with forested limestones and granite mountains. Ha Giang seems to stand still in time for 20 years while other provinces and cities experience the economic and social development. The main reason is that Ha Giang has a political standing and relationship with China.
