A railroad crosses a residential area in Hanoi where there is not a safety barrier to protect inhabitants. People ignore their safety particularly children take a space in front of their house that includes a railroad as a playground.

Cam Ranh Bay


Cam Ranh has been touted as a big thing in a year as there is a mile to mile unspoiled coast, its proximity to Nha Trang City where tourists pass by zipping through Cam Ranh International Air Port to the big smoke further north.

A life of livelihood on the Halong Bay


A livelihood on the Halong Bay includes three people: a married couple and a kid wandering here to there. They are so poor that to have a house on the ground to live. Seem like that the floor is sea and the ceiling is sun. Their kid does not have the education as the child has to follow their parents in livelihood. Nobody knows how their kid's path of education is. Stephen Wallace, a lawyer and doctor, in a tour across Vietnam captures their "mobile house" on the sea.

A Green Field

A fishing net


A big fishing net illustrated in the above photo is so-called Rổ (a basket) that is commonly used in rivers in Vietnam to fish. On the night of a previous day, a fisherman expands the net that is beneath the level of water, then the morning of a day after, he goes on a boat to collect fishes caught in a net that is risen off the water. 

This is one of the fishing ways.

H'hen Nie, Miss Vietnam 2017 clad in traditional dress of ethnic minority people


H'hen Nie, Miss Vietnam 2017, joined the earth hour event in the wear of ethnic minority people. Nie who was crowned as Miss Vietnam 2017 created an impression across the country as it is the first-ever an ethnic minority girl who won a prestigious prize in the nation.

H'hen Nie has a European appearance. Since the crowning as Miss Vietnam 207, Nie participated in many activities in civil society.

Cutout papers by Rich McCor


Rich McCor, an artist and photographer, travelled in London and saw many professional photographers and enthusiats taking photos of the beauty of Big Ben, he came up with a novel idea by cutting a piece of paper to add to a photo.

Ha Giang Province



A piece of art Dốc 9 Khoanh (a so-called slope with 9 turns) by Viet, Tran Tuan is selected to display in National Geographic Magazine (an American magazine). A slope with 9 turns which is covered with smog is a favourite road trip that backpackers take on a journey to discover northern Vietnam.

Ha Giang is a province bordering China with the population of 90% of ethnic minority people. It is endowed with forested limestones and granite mountains. Ha Giang seems to stand still in time for 20 years while other provinces and cities experience the economic and social development. The main reason is that Ha Giang has a political standing and relationship with China.

"A Market", a piece of art, is selected to display in e-Magazine



"A Market" by Viet, Tran Tuan is one of the 20 pieces of art that is selected to display in National Geographic (an American magazine). Tuan is a photographer in Vietnam that hits a record of 20 images selected by National Geographic.

A photo features a woman wearing a conic hat ( Vietnam's identity) is selling her fruits among many umbrellas. The market named Chợ Ô has been formed for 100 years in Distritc 4, Ho Chi Minh City. The characteristics of this market is sellers extend umbrellas early in the morning due to scorching sun during a day and dismantle them in late afternoon.

A dorm with Vietnam flags welcomes the victory of Vietnamese Football Team U23


In a U23 AFC Cup Tournament, Vietnamese football team was considered an unqualified team and would be defeated in the first round. However, the team brought to Vietnamese fans a lot of surprises by winning stronger teams from Asia that held everyone spellbound. Vietnamese students congratulated these wins by hanging red flags with a yellow star, Vietnam's flag.
