Mu Cang Chai Town, Yen Bai Province, Vietnam
Mu Cang Chai is a town in the North of Vietnam. It is home to ethnic minority groups in Yen Bai Province. Since Vietnam's tourism has been developed, Mu Cang Chai is one of attraction of international and local tourists.
However, traffic has been outpaced by rapid growth of tourist business. It is hard to travel in this region. This region still retains ruralness, nature.
This region is noted for rice terrace fields. Landscape is natural and grandiose. Normally, all rice terrace fields are located in the North of Vietnam.
Ethnic Minority people's life is full of hardship. They live on agriculture and handicraft. Children are not enough educated as schools are far away from home.
Since tourism has grown up. many ethnic minority girls become volunteer tourist guides. They wait for tourists at bus stop and bring them to destinations they want. Tourists pay for their guide by buying their handicraft items.
