Plum season in Moc Chau, Vietnam
Moc Chau is part of the Northern Vietnam. People in this region live on agriculture. It is known for tea cultivation. In addition, plum growing is considerably mentioned.
In spring, next to tea fields are plum fields which are blooming and "whitened" the whole area. In sunrise, it is really beautiful, the area seem to be in snow.
The blooming plum season lasts two or three weeks. Local and international tourists should go there in the begining of February.
It is time to enjoy beautiful landscape, take a rest after a working year before backing home for normal daily work.
In addition to plum season, Moc Chau also has charming caves with stalactiles, falls. Moc Chau is home to many ethnic minority groups. In the begining of the Lunar New Year, local people organise many traditional festivals to pray for prosperity, wealth and happiness.
It is an opportunity for local and international tourists learn about these local peoples' life of spirit.
