Recently, Typhoon Damrey is the strongest one that made landfall in Vietnam and left a toll of at least 40 with hundreds of homeless people. The severe sufferings the inhabitants have incurred due to weak weather forecasting of the local people. With out-of-date forecasting equipment, the government can't help the residents prepare themselves for a natural calamity.
