Typhoon Damrey hit the central Vietnam

Agony on a flood victim's face

Typhoon Damrey tore the central Vietnam just a few days before the APEC Summit that took place in Danang City. Death toll top 60. 2,000 homes had been collapsed and 8000 ones had been damaged.

Streets that were flooded or washed away caused traffic congestion. Ancient Town Hoi An was severely flooded that cancelled the schedule of visit of APEC leaders' spouses.
