A painting of rural areas in Mu Cang Chai

A cottage in the middle of golden rice fields

In the mid of September is time for a crop harvest in Mu Cang Chai District, Yen Bai Province, Vietnam. A farmer toils and moils from sunrise to sunset but he just makes both ends meet due to the price of rice goes down. In return, his life is full of serenity, fresh air.

Due to difficulties in economics, a large number of young people have to leave their homeland for cities of hustle and bustle to earn their livelihood. In a course of livelihood, some make a success but lots of others fall into traps of social evils.
