Phu Dong still retains ancientness, rural life although it is modernised with a lot of changes in the face of village. Phu Dong still has longstanding temples, pagodas, shrines and a lot of vestiges.
Life in Phu Dong seems to be slow with images of children playing around temples, shrines, old people sitting in groups to share their children's stories or polical affairs of local administration.
