Climbing a so-called roof Fansipan, Vietnam

Fansipan is a so-called roof of Indochine, highest mountain in Vietnam.
It is located in Lao Cai Province, northwest region of Vietnam.

The top of Fansipan is in the cloud most of time. It is hard to forecast the weather here, it looks like a total lottery. But climbing FSP is an easy affair if you get used to trekking, hiking and climbing.

The trail is very steep and mostly runs into rain forest and bamboo groves by wet and slippery roots and rocks.

Sunset is the most beautiful moment in a day when tourists see landscapes of clouds, mountains, hills, trails with breezez creating a live natural painting.

Tourists need to get good hiking shoes in raining or dry season as it gets slippery. In addition, tourists bring loads of snacks to enjoy in breaks during trekking up to moutain.

According to local residents, November is good time to trek up to FTS. It is not cold, sunny, less rainy, easy to enjoy sunrise in the morning.
